Naylor’s Ace Hardware Partners with City of Cumberland

In what store manager Joe Delosier has called the biggest donation ever made by Naylor’s Ace Hardware, the local retailer has provided over $ 12,000 in commercial grade paint and paint supplies to the City of Cumberland in a partnership formed to undertake several public service projects within the city.

Delosier along with Naylor’s vice president, Roger Uphold, were on hand recently to present the donation to Cumberland’s mayor, Brian Grim, at the Naylor’s located on Industrial Boulevard.  “It’s our way of saying, ‘Look at what we are able to do.  Now what can you do?’” said Delosier.  At a time when local government resources are dwindling, the sizeable donation will help the City of Cumberland address a number of worthy public service projects throughout the community.  “I can’t thank Joe, Roger, and the entire Naylor’s organization enough for their generous donation,” added Grim.  “Naylor’s has been a retail anchor along Industrial Boulevard and a generous contributor in our community for many years, but this donation exceeded my expectations.  The City is very grateful to have Naylor’s as a partner in our efforts,” said Grim.

Naylor’s donation included Benjamin Moore commercial grade paints, thinner, and rust inhibitors that can be used on wood, metal and concrete surfaces.  “We’ve made a commitment to help build and beautify our community and we challenge others to do the same,” stated Delosier.
